For the man who went to hell and back Jose S. Fernandez. Today’s video in history made me so angry but grateful. Angry in that that our government, with its basic principles based on freedom and justice, would do such a thing just to save it’s own =*-*=. And deny the recognition of my grandpa, his brothers and friends’ years of suffering. But I am grateful for the determination my grandpa had in order to survive such a hellish reality. Without it I would not be here. I really appreciate it so much more now that I know.. He was always very content and the life of the party I was just so shocked to learn and see what he went through.. I have no idea how he could still be the person that I remember him as after all that. I wish I could talk to him more about it now that I’m older..
